Trinity's Plant Developmental Genetics laboratory, which is a member of VICCI, is located in the Smurfit Institute of Genetics. The Smurfit Institute houses a number of research groups that work in a wide range of topics from medical to microbial genetics. In the Plant Developmental Genetics laboratory, we are conducting basic research into the genetic mechanisms underlying plant growth and development. We have particular expertise in applying genome-wide approaches for plant research.
