John is the head of the Teagasc Crop Science Research department based at Oak Park. Research interests include the physiology of yield formation in combinable crops, general crop agronomy and in particular disease control. He was previously head of crop agronomy, crop protection and renewable energy in ADAS in the UK.
John is the grant-holding Principal Investigator of VICCI.
