Angela is a College Lecturer at UCD. Her main research interest is molecular plant pathology. After gaining a PhD in plant disease resistance from The University of Edinburgh (2005) she began to investigate plant-fungal interactions as a Post-Doctoral researcher at The University of Copenhagen, Denmark and subsequently as a Research Scientist at CSIRO, Australia. She is reviewer for 5 international peer reviewed journals and an external reviewer for The Austrian Science Fund (FWF). Angela currently holds an EC Framework Marie Curie career integration grant.
